We’ve built SALTA from our decades of experience. Now, we are pleased to provide this step-by-step process for you to build from our experience. The interactive nine-session toolkit is available in English and Spanish and uses a “popular education” approach suitable for all audiences. The curriculum contains instructional videos, learning materials, maps and presentations for facilitators.

The program is field-tested and proven. SALTA distills the best practices of community organizing, and features real case studies from real communities and allies. And it’s easy to adapt it to your own organization and issues – just add your own case studies and examples.

SALTA is truly a product of the larger environmental justice movement. We are sharing SALTA because we have received a strong demand for it, and we seek to strengthen the entire environmental justice community. In exchange for having free access to SALTA, we ask that you use it with your leaders, share your success stories with us and provide us feedback so we can improve the program.
